The Rome Chamber Music Festival

The Rome Chamber Music Festival returns to the Auditorium Conciliazione. Artistic director Robert McDuffie, brings together a company of ten renowned masters and 30 talented young professionals, and presents four nights of performances featuring works by adiverse range of composers from Beethoven to Bernstein, from Chausson to Zappa. The festival kicks o on the 21st, with a performance of Beethoven’s “Razumovsky” String Quartet, followed by the Concerto in D major for Violin, Piano, and String Quartet by Chausson. The festival presents a homage to Beethoven on the 23rd with the famous septet and Symphony n.1. On the 24th, Bernstein is the star, with a night of his arias, including Barcarole for mezzo-soprano and four-handed piano. Grand finale on the 25th with the reggae and hip hop sounds of Bob Lennon, who presents a tribute to Frank Zappa. Tickets available at
